x600-angle-left-red-250pxThere are a lot of Electric Scooters on the market now and a large percentage of them are aimed at the youth market. With the Christmas season nearly upon us we need to gather some information on what to look for before making a purchase. When comparing Electric Scooters look for how many Watts the motor is, how many volts, and how many batteries. What type of batteries, are they the new Lithium Batteries? Batteries should be mounted low for a low center of gravity. Frames should be high strength steel. How big and what type of tire do they have? Do they have front and rear suspension? Do they have front and rear brakes? The bigger and faster the scooter is so should the frame, suspension, and brakes be. Do they fold for easy transportation or storage? The line of Electric Scooters from Xtreme Scooters (an Industry leader) has evolved from the early price point versions to today’s high tech, high performance, and durable yet affordable line of electric scooters.

When selecting a scooter don’t just pick out the best looking or the fastest, you should be selecting one that is right for your child’s age, size, and ability. Be careful of the big discount warehouse stores models. Be sure to read all the information on all the models. They should clearly tell you all the specifications of the motor, batteries, and suspension. What there load rating is, how fast they can go, and what level their intended age and ability group is. In closing always be sure that your kids wear protective gear when using their electric scooter.
