Scooters are fast becoming more popular with people who live in the city and are looking to save money on gas, car insurance, maintenance, and all the other expenses of owning an automobile.  Electric scooters have become much more common on city streets in the past few years. These scooters are feasible for short and middle range travel, and are excellent for navigating city streets. Electric motor scooters are also great for parking in the city, as most of the time you don’t have to pay and can just lock up with a railing and keep your scooter secure. While these scooters can’t travel at significant speeds, they’re great for the city which tends to be packed with traffic.

Electric motor scooters save on all the costs of an automobile, and also provide a helping hand to the environment. In countries outside the U.S., automobiles are much less common on the road than bicycles, motorcycles, and electric motor scooters, and are much of the reasons these countries have less pollution.  If everyone owned a scooter, imagine what a difference it would make in cities like Los Angeles!
